∎ Bachelor's degree in Textiles preferred but not mandatory.

∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ 5-7 years of experience in merchandising within the RMG sector, preferably with exposure to woven denim products.
∎ Strong knowledge of textile materials, costing, and production processes.
∎ Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to effectively collaborate with teams and meet buyer expectations.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Experience in woven-based RMG especially in Denim is a must.
∎ Have a strong understanding of denim fabric sourcing and washing processes to ensure quality and meet buyers’ standards.
∎ Handle product costing, price negotiations and prepare cost breakdown sheets.
∎ Monitor and ensure the timely development of samples and prototypes.
∎ Lead product development to create designs that meet client expectations and trends.
∎ Manage the sampling process from start to finish, ensuring samples align with design and quality goals.
∎ Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers, maintaining excellent correspondence and presentation skills for clear updates and approvals.
∎ Sound knowledge of production (pattern, consumption and wash etc.).
∎ Coordinates with the production team in order to deliver on-time shipments.
