Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, or Business Administration.
Merchandiser: 3–5 years in woven/knit garments merchandising.
Senior Merchandiser: 6–10 years in woven/knit garments merchandising, with direct buyer handling experience.
Strong knowledge of fabrics (woven/knit), trims, and garment manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication & negotiation skills in English.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems.
Ability to handle multiple orders independently and meet deadlines.
To manage and execute the end-to-end merchandising process for woven/knit garments, ensuring timely order execution, cost control, and effective liaison with buyers, production, and suppliers to achieve company targets.
Act as the key contact point for international buyers.
Handle inquiries, costing, and order negotiations.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with buyers to ensure long-term collaboration.
Ensure timely response to buyer queries and approvals (samples, trims, accessories, etc.).
Prepare pre-costing, consumption, and price negotiation.
Confirm orders with buyers ensuring profitability.
Prepare order sheets and internal costing for production.
Coordinate product development with design/PD team.
Ensure timely development of samples (fit, proto, size set, pre-production).
Follow up with sample room and suppliers for on-time delivery of samples.
Monitor order status with production, fabric sourcing, and accessories teams.
Coordinate with planning, procurement, and production to ensure smooth order execution.
Follow up on fabric and trims approval, delivery, and inventory management.
Work with QA team to meet buyer quality standards.
Ensure all buyer requirements, compliance, and testing standards are met.
Handle corrective actions for any quality or compliance issues.
Ensure on-time shipment as per buyer requirements.
Coordinate with commercial/logistics team for booking, documentation, and delivery.
Resolve issues related to customs, export documentation, and shipment delays.
Lead junior merchandisers and assistants in order follow-up.
Prepare weekly order status reports for management.
Maintain order T&A (Time & Action) plan and ensure deadlines are met.
