Job Responsibilities:
∎ Approval of pre-productions.
∎ Production & samples follow up with factories.
∎ Secure that cooperation between Dhaka office and factory is smooth and organized.
∎ -establishing a good and workable connection/dialogue with the factories.
∎ -but at the same time also having the ability to be a "hard hitter" in order to secure
∎ That factories perform as per agreed conditions.
∎ Being able to handle several numbers of orders at the same time.
∎ -and always be "ahead" of the situation.
∎ Having the skills to be solution oriented.
∎ Prepared to be part of a rotation system where the merchandisers alternately are performing
∎ Control functions at the factories in connection with the ongoing orders.
∎ Cooperate/communicate with European head office on a daily basis through mail and phone.
∎ Struturized and organized working routines.
∎ Proper execution of orders to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
∎ Good and sound knowledge of costing based on inquiries and requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in Merchandising
∎ Experience in Garments in both Knit & Woven Shirt.
∎ Ability to work as well individual as being a team player.
∎ Possesses high sense of honesty
∎ Self-motivated, confident and proactive.
∎ Willing to travel to factory frequently - when required.
∎ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
∎ Strong and persistent when negotiating with factories.
