Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc. in Ceramics Engineering from a reputed University /Diploma from Dhaka Polytechnic Institute.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ A well-reputed foreign buyer liaise office with a rich and diverse experience spanning more than two decades, is looking for some dynamic and energetic person for Merchandiser - Non-textile (Ceramics) position.
∎ Job Location: Gulshan-2, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Actively involved with the buyers for day-to-day correspondence and updating them with the detailed status of their current orders and samples.
∎ Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance Buyer's expectations and the company's objective.
∎ Attending meetings and follow up with buyers for new development and orders.
∎ Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
∎ Check raw materials before production, participate in pre-production meetings, production follow up and vendor management.
∎ Sample checking as per buyer requirement before dispatching and supervision of sample to the production department.
∎ Making the detailed specification sheets for the easy understanding of production/sampling team.
∎ Preparing BOM (Bill of Material) to ensure that the product made is exactly as per the specifications provided or requested by the buyer.
∎ Preparation of sampling invoices for payment purposes and check courier invoices for billing purpose.
∎ Build constructive relationships with channel partners.
∎ Preparing reports and regularly update & review to the top management.
∎ Sourcing new suppliers as per buyer requirements.

∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Candidates having experience in similar position are highly encouraged to apply.
∎ The incumbent should be able to work under pressure, well organized, self-driven & have good personality.
∎ Must demonstrate attitude of integrity, transparence, proactive stance and positive style;
∎ Computer skills in Windows operating system, MS Office suite and E-mail.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skill both in Bangla and English.
Salary: Negotiable
