∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have fabric sourcing experience.
∎ Technical knowledge on woven fabrics.
∎ Fabric properties / testing and technical knowledge.
∎ To work with raw materials, garments and value added suppliers and visiting them ahead of season to collect and up to date new fabrics, embellishments, silhouette, finishes, garments.
∎ Understand all elements of tech packs, costing and challenge your supply base to improve them through product capability improvements, efficiency and process saving.
∎ Understand the economic environment of Bangladesh and any influencing factors on cost and convey them to customers.
∎ Contribute to the Central Sourcing costing initiatives in the timelines set.
∎ Through training and guidance work towards achieving your personal development plan.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Strong knowledge on Woven fabric and yarn.
∎ Knowledge on woven fabrics gauge and construction is a must.
∎ Must have global sourcing experience from different countries.
∎ Good Knowledge & Skill in MS Office.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time frame.
∎ Ability to effectively communicate and correspond with the concern department and external suppliers.
