Experience:
Execute and follow-up on developments and sampling up to SMS
Develop seasonal collection as well as buyer specific range every season
Conduct a thorough study of the tech packs received from the customers /senior merchandisers / design department
Analyze the fabrics, trims and knitting parameters, wash in detail
Source raw material and further development as needed to meet target raw material price architecture (good, better, best)
Coordinate with factories and suppliers for any new developments, sourcing and sampling
Prepare time and action plan (T&A) for customer developments and maintain T&A with the help of account head and merchants and to update on weekly basis
Create sampling request in MIS, and generate a product file style wise
Meet deadlines for all developments and samples with the right quality
Research new fabrics / technology, washing techniques and trims for new developments and samples
Maintain and make available all technical data for Design and Merchandising prior to costing during the development phase
Prepare and continuously update the fabric, trims, print, embroideries, washes and stitch library including technical data and price ideas for easy reference
Conduct risk analysis during product development
Comment on the accuracy of sample for colors, as well as fabric, print, pattern, embellishment status, and accuracy
Handover the styles to Merchandisers along with all the product details and technical information after any order is confirmed
Preserve sample data and utilize it during bulk production
Ensure Fit approval & wearer tests
Communicate about development status with concern Merchandiser/ Designer
Prepare sample delivery status
Monitor sample execution
