Masters or Higher Degree in Clinical/Counselling Psychology from a reputed University.
Clear understanding of gender, human rights, and related issues will add value.
Proved facilitation and communication skills.
Excellent skills in maintaining communication and liaison among internal departments and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of safeguarding, legal and ethical issues related to clients’ and team personnel’s rights.
Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.10. Program design thinking, process improvement and problem-solving ability.
Strong partnerships, networking and advocacy skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills.
Fluency in Bangla and English.
Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience and solid knowledge about capacity building approaches and working modalities.
Experience of working with community mental health, GBV, Trauma Informed care and Drug dependency is a must.
Expertise in trouble shooting, conflict resolution and crisis intervention techniques.
The Mental Health Coordinator will provide technical and programmatic support to SAJIDA Foundation’s mental health initiatives. The role involves coordinating projects, contributing to program design and budgeting, supporting the development of training materials, and engaging in research and documentation to strengthen evidence-based mental health programming.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the coordination and implementation of mental health activities within SAJIDA’s programs.
Contribute to program design, concept note preparation, and budget development for mental health projects.
Assist in developing training materials, manuals, and guidelines to strengthen the capacity of staff and partners.
Provide technical support during training sessions, workshops, and program reviews.
Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and alignment in mental health programming.
Participate in research activities, including needs assessments, data collection, analysis, and documentation to generate evidence for program improvement and policy advocacy.
Support monitoring, evaluation, and learning initiatives to ensure program quality and impact.
Document best practices, lessons learned, and case studies for internal learning and external dissemination.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies such as safeguarding, child protection, and code of conduct in all program activities.
Make regular field visits to pilot sites to develop contextual knowledge of each site, develop relationships with the field team, and provide support as necessary.
Provide support tele/digital innovation design and service.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Other Related Duties:
Ensure SAJIDA HO policies (e.g., Child Protection, Safe Guarding, Code of Conducts, Leave, etc.) are implemented within SUDIN activities.
