Project Description:
Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global project funded by the U.S. Government through the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). The project provides strategic technical support and direct service delivery to strengthen Global Health Security (GHS), including outbreak preparedness and response; improve maternal and child health (MCH); and support health systems strengthening (HSS), with a strong focus on supply chain management. Epic is led by FHI 360 and implemented in partnership in seven districts of Bangladesh.
Position Summary
Palashipara Samaj Kallayan Samity (PSKS), as the implementing partner, is working with FHI 360 to implement a multi-sectoral health security and emergency preparedness project focused on MNCHN, EMCE, IPC, and community engagement, in close collaboration with government partners. We are seeking a competent and experienced Project Manager to provide overall leadership for planning, implementation, coordination, and reporting of the project.
This position will lead partner-led implementation and coordinate closely with FHI 360 to ensure timely and effective rollout of Global Health Security (GHS), Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and Nutrition (MNCHN), and Evidence-Based Public Health Messaging and Community Engagement (EMCE) interventions, aligned with national and local priorities.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Public Health/Development Studies/Social Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in managing health or development programs.
Proven experience managing multi-component, donor-funded projects.
Strong leadership, coordination, and people management skills.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills in English and Bangla.
Willingness to travel frequently to field locations.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Email).
Motorcycle driving skill with valid driving license.

Preferred Experience
Experience in MNCHN, health security, EMCE, IPC, or emergency preparedness programs.
Familiarity with Government of Bangladesh health systems and coordination mechanisms.
Experience managing programs in emergency or outbreak-prone settings.
Experience supporting multisectoral and community-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Program Planning & Implementation
Planning, implementation, and tracking of project activities in line with approved work plans, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with FHI 360.
Ensure integration of MNCHN, health security, EMCE, IPC, and community engagement interventions across project components.
Supervise district and upazila teams to ensure timely, high-quality implementation. S/he will provide overall guidance, and coordination to support planning and organization of project events at district and upazila levels
Team Management & Coordination
Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and performance management of program staff.
Coordinate closely with technical, M&E, finance, and admin teams to ensure aligned and efficient operations.
Facilitate regular program review meetings and learning exchanges.
Government & Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain effective coordination with DGHS, IEDCR, DLS, DAE, local government, and other relevant health actors .
Provide advocacy, coordination, and technical support to hospital managers and service providers to improve the quality and continuity of MNCHN and emergency preparedness.
S/he will strengthen community preparedness and emergency response, and improve coordination with district and upazila public health emergency committees.
Represent the project in coordination meetings, technical forums, and government platforms.
Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance
Track program performance and ensure timely reporting to donors and management.
Ensure compliance with donor regulations, safeguarding policies, and organizational procedures.
Use monitoring data and field feedback to support adaptive management and continuous improvement and contribute to documentation and synthesis of project learning and good practices.
Risk Management & Quality Assurance
Identify programmatic risks and operational challenges and propose mitigation measures.
Ensure quality assurance across activities through supervision, reviews, and supportive monitoring.
