Experience:

• At least 2 years

• MBBS from any recognized University. MPH degree will get preference.

• At least 2 years

• Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field

• Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla with proven technical reporting abilities.

• Adequate skills in computer applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with experience in workplan development, and stakeholder engagement.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with project partners, government representatives, and private sector actors.

• Excellent presentation and traiing/ workshop facilitation skills

• Sound knowledge in public health field preferably in Tuberculosis Control (TB)

Job Purpose

• Works closely with the NTP (National TB Programme) staff to implement quality TB services at field level. Monitoring and supervision of programme performance based on national guidelines, SoPs, strategies and conbribures to reach NTPs goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote government ownership and stewardship of implementing TB services activities at field level

• Work closely with NTP Divisional TB expert to ensure integration of the TB services at urban areas

• Maintain effective coordination and relationship building focus on mutual respect, transparency, programme priority with the all stakeholders including government and other relevant partners

• Prepare work-plan based on budgets, national targets and execution of the field activities under the guidance of NTP

• Identify training needs and building capacity of the field staff though the on job training and formal one

• Provide technical support to the TB control activities

• Conduct regular supervision and monitoring of quality implementation programme activities at assigned areas extensively, identify bottlenecks and take appropriate measures timely to make functional all the component of TB services

• Ensure optimum utilization of the available resources and provide requisition to fulfil the vacant position at earliest

• Regular checking programming record including financial and prepared programmatic and other reports within in the stipulated timeline.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
