Job Context:
∎ Resource Integration Centre (RIC) is a national NGO since 1981 in Bangladesh. RIC is implementing "Response to the needs of Older People amongst Forcibly Displaced Myanmar National and Host Community in Bangladesh funded by HelpAge in Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar District RIC is seeking application from the potential candidate on the below position.
∎ PROGRAM: IROP, DEC
∎ Location: Rohingya Camps & Host Community, Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar.
∎ Post type: Contract (January` 2022 - June` 2022)
∎ extension depending on program performance
∎ SCOPE OF ROLE:
∎ Staff reportable to: Program Manager
∎ Staff maintain liaison with: Program Staffs, Community People, Camp in Charge (CiC), RRRC, HelpAge Officials
∎ Staff based at Rohingya Camps & Host Community in Ukhiya.
∎ Working Hours & Location: at AFS (Age Friendly Space) in Camps & host community and will work 6 days a week
Job Responsibilities:
∎ ROLE OF THIS POSITION:
∎ Daily outdoor patient management
∎ Diagnose patients through physical examination and patient history
∎ Referrals as may be required depending on the clinical condition
∎ Prescribe medicine as required to optimize the clinical condition and provide necessary information and counseling to the patient or affected family members as well as organize follow up of the patients where necessary
∎ All patient consultations must be accurately recorded in the clinical patient notes within 24 hours of seeing the patient
∎ Should have the quality to manage technical staff.
∎ Made requisitions for emergency and regular medicine
∎ To check the medicine stock registers and regular updating
∎ Assist Clinic Supervisor in identifying priority health needs including regular disease outbreak monitoring and reporting to the Govt. health authorities
∎ Capacity building of other clinical staff including Medical Assistant
∎ Perform other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor or medical coordinator
∎ KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTIBILITIES:
∎ The Medical Officer will be responsible for overall patient management of the camps & host community.
∎ Preparation of reports (monthly, quarterly and yearly) maintenance, expenditure and work plan.
∎ Other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ 1/2 years of experience in health-related programs
∎ Knowledge and experience with working in the field of public health sector and in medical emergencies
∎ Experience with refugee health will be added as advantage
∎ Ability to work effectively under pressure in hardship situations and harmoniously within a team of colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds
∎ Previous experience in development project at an international organization is an advantage
∎ Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
∎ Proficient in the English and chittagonian language
Salary:
∎ Salary: Tk. 70,000/- Per month (Consolidated)
