Responsibilities & Context:

  • Provide round-the-clock medical care to inpatients at Holy Lab Healthcare Hospital.  

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluation of hospitalized patients, including medical history review, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessment and treatment protocol.  

  • Monitor and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed.

  • Administer medications, treatments and procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.

  • Perform medical procedures such as wound care, suturing, and minor surgery if necessary.

  • Respond immediately to medical emergencies, provide immediate intervention and stabilize patients when necessary. 

  • Collaborate with nursing staff to provide optimal patient care and ensure adherence to treatment plans.

  • Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options and preventive health care measures.

  • Accurately and comprehensively document patient care activities in the medical record, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Participate in medical rounds, case conferences, and interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and coordinate transitions of care.

  • Stay updated on advances in medical knowledge, techniques, and technology through continuing education and professional development programs.  

  • Comply with hospital policies, procedures and protocols, including infection control measures and quality improvement initiatives.  

  • Provide support and supervision to assigned junior medical staff, interns and medical students. 

  • Collaborate with hospital management and clinical leadership to improve patient care services and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. 

  • Ability to work in a stressful and varied work environment.
