Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide round-the-clock medical care to inpatients at Holy Lab Healthcare Hospital.
∎ Conduct comprehensive evaluation of hospitalized patients, including medical history review, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
∎ Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessment and treatment protocol.
∎ Monitor and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
∎ Administer medications, treatments and procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
∎ Perform medical procedures such as wound care, suturing, and minor surgery if necessary.
∎ Respond immediately to medical emergencies, provide immediate intervention and stabilize patients when necessary.
∎ Collaborate with nursing staff to provide optimal patient care and ensure adherence to treatment plans.
∎ Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options and preventive health care measures.
∎ Accurately and comprehensively document patient care activities in the medical record, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
∎ Participate in medical rounds, case conferences, and interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and coordinate transitions of care.
∎ Stay updated on advances in medical knowledge, techniques, and technology through continuing education and professional development programs.
∎ Comply with hospital policies, procedures and protocols, including infection control measures and quality improvement initiatives.
∎ Provide support and supervision to assigned junior medical staff, interns and medical students.
∎ Collaborate with hospital management and clinical leadership to improve patient care services and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
∎ Ability to work in a stressful and varied work environment.
