Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. The health and WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 8 institutions and 10 projects.
The Health and WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 8 institutions and 17 funded projects. “Ahsania Mission Female Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center”, Shyamoli, Dhaka is one of the institutions of the Health Sector. DAM Health Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Medical Officer, at “Ahsania Mission Female Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center”, Shyamoli, Dhaka.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities and the medical department's routine activities.
To work under organizational rules, regulations & policy.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly & annual work plans and Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly & annual reports (with target vs. achievement)
Planning and coordinating for the development of the medical department.
Please make sure the clients and building of professional and make sure the center is safe for the clients.
Patients follow up & proper linkage with all departments of the center.
Ensure withdrawal management, orientation & motivation and provide any Kind of mental support to the Clients.
Support help to the psychosocial therapy process with the counselor.
Monitoring and preparing any kinds of recovery gathering.
Providing primary health care services.
To check blood pressure, temperature, diabetics, and weight of clients with documents.
Conduct at least two sessions a week for clients about HIV/AIDS, STC, health care etc.
Responsible for universal precaution/ bio-safety.
Manage withdrawal Symptoms by cooperating with program staff.
Abscess management.
Any emergency medical Support.
Any other responsibility assigned by the center manager.
