Educational Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Performing data entry of all epidemiological information into select databases program and creating appropriate reports, providing data for project development purposes.
∎ Ensuring that all data entered has been authorized and that appropriate documentation has been received (patient records, treatment monitoring, etc.). Ensuring that all data entry processes occur in a timely and efficient manner.
∎ Ensuring all data collected and entered to databases is consistently accurate and complete. Being responsible for ensuring that quality control queries of the database are followed up, ensuring identification of data entry errors and corrections. Immediately reporting to the supervisor, any anomalies in the database
∎ Filing documents according to MSF standards
∎ Communicating regularly with the HCW's, assisting in the (re) training when necessary, on proper registration of patients, proper filling of the various forms, clarifying queries, obtaining missing information and correcting errors, ensuring they have ongoing sufficient supplies of necessary hardcopy data collection forms
∎ Assisting in the compilation and preparation of regular reports and providing detailed information to medical and laboratory teams (weekly, monthly, according to patient treatment requirements)
∎ Data encoding / collection:
∎ Collect medical data from all departments on a regular schedule
∎ Ensuring and support the supervisors/managers when encode the data.
∎ Work in collaboration with the medical team for data collection
∎ Update electronic files of existing patients and make any corrections needed.
∎ Make regular back-ups of all data processed.
∎ Transferring intake data of all active MH files as defined by the MH team into Bahmni.
∎ Typing skill 40 words per minute, basic understanding of health data or database as needed
∎ Good MS Excel skills for data management and data visualization
∎ (Review/ standardize /manage and update the different data collection resources/ systems used in the hospital in the different departments)
∎ Data monitoring / security / protection:
∎ Participate in the search for missing data, missing patients, and ordering the patient files (actives, default, and discharge patients)
∎ Report any issue concerning data management to supervisor.
∎ Ensure, promote, and maintain confidentiality regarding all information registered.
∎ (Evaluate and monitor the respective department data filling and conduct regular data verification exercise in order to ensure to have accurate, high-quality databases.)
∎ Communication and reporting:
∎ Work in collaboration with the medical managers and supervisors for feedback and explain the indicators.
∎ Be able to elaborate statistical reports monthly and when required by the medical team.
∎ Provide Supervisor with weekly updated database to allow for necessary analyses
∎ When requested by manager, participate in other activity that requires data collection or data entry in the project
∎ Data analysis:
∎ Support supervisor if needed on data indicators analysis and training organization.
∎ Assisting in the training of the respective MH team members on the usage of activity sheets, and on data entry into Bahmni.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 59 years
∎ Minimum 2 years work experience in data entry/analysis.English language and Bengali language essential. Rohingya language will be an asset
Salary:
∎ Tk. 43300 - 51960 (Monthly)
∎ Two (2) annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents.
