Additional Requirements:
∎ Essential, higher education with proven computer literacy, degree in Information and Technology (IT) or mathematics field desirable.Minimum 2 years work experience in data entry/analysis (preferably with MSF experience or other health sector)MSF experienced is required. Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)· Desirable experience in DHIS2 or other health information software programs· Knowledge on patient records, treatment monitoring and medical database· Expertise in excel functions (PivotTable, sumifs, countifs, VLOOKUP, IF, etc.)· Expertise in analyzing epidemiological and statistical dataExpertise on filing and archiving documents.(01 Male, 01 Female) 2 position
Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Performing data entry of all epidemiological information into select database programs and creating appropriate reports, providing data for project development purposes.
∎ Ensuring that all data entered has been authorized and that appropriate documentation has been received (patient records, treatment monitoring, etc.).
∎ Ensuring that all data entry processes occur in a timely and efficient manner.
∎ Ensuring all data collected and entered to databases is consistently accurate and complete. Being responsible for ensuring that quality control queries of the database are followed up, ensuring identification of data entry errors and corrections. Immediately reporting to the supervisor, any anomalies in the database.
∎ Filing documents according to MSF standards· Communicating regularly with the HCW’s, assisting in the (re)training when necessary, on proper registration of patients, proper filling of the various forms, clarifying queries, obtaining missing information and correcting errors, ensuring they have ongoing sufficient supplies of necessary hardcopy data collection forms. Assisting in the compilation and preparation of regular reports and providing detailed information to medical and laboratory teams (weekly, monthly, according to patient treatment requirements). To collate and enter all relevant data as per surveillance system in place (morbidity, mortality, surveillance of diseases of epidemic potential, nutrition, psychological, occupational health and women’s health. Provide data collection sheets and reports as required by other departments· Provide feedback to supervisors on training needs of staff and assist in the training if required. Maintain medical database (hard & soft copies) and ensure all data is backed-up weekly to avoid rupture in health surveillance. Collaborate closely with different departments and supervisors to get and record accurate data· Support the supervisors in analysing the statistical data for the reporting. Maintain confidentiality of all patient data· To support in technical aspects of data collection done by the data entry operator. To maintain a regular contact and feedback with project coordination team on any technical questions or issues.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ This position is based on 8 months contract according to level-Four (Level-4) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 47500 Gross/Month). Salary is not negotiable. Income tax deduction from salary based on current income tax rule. 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents based on Health Care Policy- Locally Recruited Staff.
