Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS or paramedical degree.
∎ Desirable: specialization or training in tropical medicine, public health, internal medicine, NCD

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinating, assessing, and supervising the proper functioning of the medical activities (OPDs), according to MSF protocols, standards and procedures and through the correct compilation and analysis of medical data regarding patients’ health conditions.
∎ Participating in the definition of annual planning and budget for the project and in the follow up of the programs / project. Supervising and ensuring that medical activities objectives under his/her responsibility are achieved, reporting to the technical referent any problem arising in the service
∎ Checking all administrative procedures related to patients’ follow-up (individual card filling, registers, EMR (electronic medical records), paper exit, discharge, transfers ...) are carried out correctly and according to MSF procedures.
∎ Ensuring an efficient pharmacy management and monitoring the rational use of them. In coordination with the project biomedical service supervising the appropriate use of medical devices and anticipating future needs. Preparing the medical orders needed to implement the medical activities under his/her responsibility, and identifying and reporting to the line manager, non-medical support needs (material, infrastructure, transport, etc.)
∎ Coordinating and monitoring the daily working plan of the team under his/her responsibility (absent personnel, vacations, tracking leaves ...). Participating in managing shifts and together with MAM-HoH, ensuring doctor allocation to external OPDs. Participating in shifts and replaces a doctor, if necessary.
∎ Planning and supervising, in close coordination with the HR department, the associated processes (recruitment, training, performance evaluation, development and internal communication) of the staff under his/her responsibility in order to improve staff capabilities and to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required
∎ Participating in the monthly reports according to guidelines (i.e. SitReps, medical statistical reports, etc.).
∎ MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities:y
∎ Clinical work:
∎ Working in close collaboration with the Expat Medical Doctor making sure the day to day care for all GOPD, NCD, Hep c
∎ patients OPD consultations are covered.
∎ In collaboration with facility Supervisors, IPD MAM, NAM , NS MDs (Medical Doctor) coordinating and managing the provision of quality basic and curative care in the health facility,
∎ Implementing and managing correct use of diagnostic & treatment protocols according to MSF clinical guidelines, including strict adherence to universal precautions.
∎ Developing strategies to improve the quality of patient care and access to medical treatment (according to MSF guidelines).
∎ Monitoring diseases in collaboration with IPD MAM and epidemiology team within the departments - for example, cholera, Diphtheria, shigella, Tb, meningitis, measles etc. - as part of clinical surveillance, and take appropriate measures.
∎ Referrals:
∎ Guiding staff and ensuring correct clinical decision making for referral of patients for further management according to the referral policy & communicating appropriately with PMR and IPD MAM regarding the possibility of any referral outside of the normal referral pathway.
∎ Monitoring incoming referrals (from other facilities) and outgoing referrals (to other facilities).
∎ Community Feedback and Patient follow up in the camp:
∎ In collaboration with Outreach manger and Hp team, ensuring proper tracking of defaulter patients, ensuring required home visit , organizing patient care meeting
∎ Improving the activity acknowledging community feedback
∎ Human resources/others:
∎ Management, organization and coaching of Medical Doctors and Medical Assistants assigned to OPD .
∎ Regular case and morbidity discussions to improve quality of care and for self-reflection in the medical team
∎ Taking responsibility with PMR and MedCo support for national staff health, Volunteer health, ensuring health policy is followed
∎ Covering and sharing responsibility with IPD MAM during annual leave, SL ,training
∎ Covering the mental health clinic during absence and GAP of MHAM
∎ Participating in regular meetings (morning handover, medical meeting, HMT/PMT, MAM/MD/MA meetings a.o)
∎ Medical supply management:
∎ In collaboration with the Supervisors and PMR: assessing the need for medicines & medical materials and informing the Hospital Clinical Lead and Head Nurse for supply & inclusion in the standard items list.
∎ Assisting in preparing departmental medical request, as well participating in forecasting for IMO
∎ Working with the medical team to ensure rational and safe use of drugs and medical materials in the clinic.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 60 years
∎ Essential: minimum 2 years’ experience as a medical doctor in medical activities with similar job.
∎ Desirable: working experience in MSF or other NGO’s in developing countries.
∎ Desirable: Experience in tropical medicine, or post-registration experience in Public Health,
∎ infectious diseases, NCD.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 150000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary according to level eleven (11) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 150,000 Gross).
