  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities & Context:

The Bangladesh Association of Publicly Listed Companies (BAPLC), the apex body representing companies listed with the Stock Exchanges in Bangladesh, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Media and Communications Manager to lead our communication initiatives and strengthen our brand image.

About the Role:

The Media and Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance our brand visibility and engagement across various platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, excellent writing and communication abilities, and a proven track record in media relations and content creation. 

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing the contents and the materials of Association’s bulletin published in quarterly based, collecting Articles, advertisements and other necessary documents for this issue.

  • Writing press releases, articles, social media posts, website content, and other materials to promote the organization and its activities. 

  • Develop and execute media relations strategies to secure positive media coverage and build strong relationships with journalists and media outlets.

  • Oversee the creation and dissemination of high-quality content, including press releases, website copy, social media updates, and marketing materials.

  • Manage Association’s social media presence, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement with target audiences.

  • Monitor media coverage and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.

  • Manage Association’s online presence, including website content and social media channels, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media representatives, industry influencers, and community partners.

  • Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of communication strategies.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in media and communication.
