Educational Requirements:
∎ Essential diploma in mechanics or related studies.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Performing autonomously and ensuring, all necessary complex/advanced maintenance and repair of MSF generators and mechanical equipment to ensure they are in perfect condition for their use. This includes the following tasks;
∎ Performing maintenance according to the instructions in the logbook, ensuring all type of services to all generators are done on time;
∎ Testing all generators after each service is concluded and before it is handed back to its owner;
∎ Keeping record of tech log remarks, and carrying out repairs if needed (generators and other mechanical equipment) and filling in service, repair or generator log book. Reporting to the line manager any problem related to MSF generators;
∎ In the case of a breakdown, making a diagnosis, informing the line manager/tech log of the project and after approval carrying out any complex / advanced repairs needed;
∎ Following up the validity of all documents (annual inspections or any other required documents);
∎ Assisting in the briefing or training of the tech logs regarding generator services and maintenance;
∎ Managing the stock of consumable items, filling in the stock cards, carrying out physical stock inventories, executing orders necessary for renewing stock, avoiding any shortage;
∎ Responsible for the equipment and tools, including extinguishers, checking they are correctly and safely used, maintaining and renewing them when necessary and keeping the inventory updated;
∎ Keeping the working area clean and tidy;
∎ Ensuring that all record sheets and books related to maintenance are always completed and preparing needed reports before and after any repair or required maintenance.
∎ MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities:
∎ To create and follow up the maintenance schedule for the generators in all MSF missions/projects;
∎ Advise the technical log or supply log on stock level of spare parts;
∎ Identify spare part and lubricant need for the mission and communicate with the supply log in timely manner;
∎ To collect reports from tech logs about the condition of the generators, and take appropriate action accordingly;
∎ To supervise and monitor any type of repair and maintenance done out-side MSF workshop;
∎ Train tech logs on daily and weekly generator services;
∎ In consultation with the TechLog/and or Mission Technical Reference prepare the service schedule for all generators;
∎ Report to the technical log when repair is requirement has occured due to bad use/ or fuel practices;
∎ Advise the purchaser on the quality of spare parts, fuel and lubricants;
∎ Provides technical advice to the projects on request;
∎ Performs any other technical work when required.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 47477 (Monthly)
∎ Salary 47477 BDT according to MSF salary grid Step "0" (Non-Negotiable). Note: Income Tax will be deducted as per legal compliance from the mentioned salary.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Two (2) annual leave days per month worked. Medical Reimbursement for employee and direct dependent.
