Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Social Science (MSS) in Social Science, Masters in Information Systems Security (MISS), Master of Information & Communication Technology (MICT), and Others Relevant subject.
∎ Skills Required: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Computer skill, Data Analysis, Database management, Kobo applications, Report Writing, SPSS

Job Context:
∎ Samaj Kallayan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) envisions a peaceful, prosperous and poverty-free society that ensures everyone`s basic needs and rights. SKUS has since the 2017 Rohingya refugee influx worked in Cox`s Bazar district with children and adolescents. SKUS works to provide access to learning opportunities in a safe and protective environment, offer quality teaching/learning and increase refugee/host community participation and engagement in children`s education. Based on children`s and adolescents` rights, SKUS has established quality learning and protection centers with support from different international donors, including UN agencies. SKUS has an agreement with UNICEF for the project of Phase III- Provision of Basic Education Programme for Rohingya Children aged 3-14 years in Cox`s Bazar district based on Learning Competency Framework Approach (LCFA) in Rohingya Camp in Ukhia Upazila under Cox`s Bazar District. SKUS is looking for a suitable candidate for the immediate appointment of MEAL Officer for the project as mentioned above, supported by UNICEF. The MEAL Officer position is responsible for designing the project M&E framework, develop tools and techniques, provide technical support to strengthen the M&E system.
∎ The duration of the contact up to May 2,2023 (High possibility to extend)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare Project M&E plan
∎ Develop baseline figures for the project as per indicators
∎ Develop tools and techniques for day to day monitoring;
∎ Ensure collection of field data as per project's M&E framework and provide technical supports to establish/strengthen M&E system at all level;
∎ Maintain Participatory Impact Monitoring
∎ Collect and preserve project operational-data on regular basis to observe the progress of planned activities of the project;
∎ Update database and other records on regular basis analyzed and provided feedback to respective unit/ staff;
∎ Design and implement a "learning and knowledge management" system;
∎ Share field findings, updated information, observations in the meeting/ workshops/ seminar and training programs;
∎ Facilitate technical sessions related to Monitoring & Evaluation in different training/ workshop as required by the project or organization;
∎ Carry out the case studies, success stories in coordination with the PR Officer for documentation and share findings with the project team and relevant stakeholders;
∎ Writing reports and capturing key lesson learned;
∎ Assist Project Coordinator to establish an effective system for information sharing with internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Assist in conducting different studies planned by the project and finalize methodology (tools and techniques) for the study;
∎ Prepare different quarterly progress report as well as situational reports and ensure its submission to the Project Coordinator;
∎ Provide technical assistance and/or necessary information for preparing/publishing project reports;
∎ Establish and maintain an electronic database of targeted program participants for preparing quarterly, six-monthly and annual progress report;
∎ Perform other official tasks, as and when required, for the greater interest of the project/ organization.
∎ Ensure submission 5W, IM report to UNICEF and Education sector as required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Advance knowledge in MS-Office applications especially word processing, spreadsheet and presentation tools.
∎ The candidate must have sound knowledge of M&E, data management, and documentation;
∎ Experience in using any online/mobile-based real-time data collection tool is an advantage
∎ Skilled in ONA and 5W reporting
∎ Knowledge in Child Rights and Child Protection, Related Law and Policy,
∎ Capacity in leadership, data and gap analysis
∎ Mobilization, considered an advantage;
∎ Excellent planning, analytical, organizational and decision making skills
∎ Strong verbal and written skills in both Bangla and English.
∎ Capable of writing narrative and numerical reports in English;
∎ Strong leadership quality and ability to work under pressure;
∎ Willingness to visit field activities frequently
∎ Having a valid motorcycle or car driving license considered an advantage;
∎ Ability to work under pressure;
∎ Likes to take the challenge;
∎ Good working relationships with colleagues, actors and allies
∎ Excellent communication skills including written and spoken in English
∎ Conversant in common IT applications (MS word, MS power point, internet browsing & e-mail communications)
∎ Report writing and documentation skills
∎ Excellent in rapport building and networking

Salary:
∎ Tk. 60000 - 69960 (Monthly)
∎ Salary negotiable based on experience within the range
