  • Skilled in motorcycle driving with valid driving license is priority.

  • High level of IT skill especially in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, SPSS operating and internet communication.

  • His/Her main contact with Project Coordinator, Director Program,Executive Director, Concern Worldwide MEAL Team,

  • Must have a good understanding on logical framework and theory of change.

  • Have knowledge on data collection techniques, sampling methodology, and M&E concepts.

  • Ability to take prompt and sound decisions, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced project environment.Proven writing and oral communication skills in English and Bengali.

  • Excellent facilitation/coaching skill to conduct orientation, training, workshop etc.

  • Excellent leadership capacity to maintain excellent team building and conflict response management.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill.

  • Pro-active, self-starter and result oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities & Context:

Nazrul Smriti Sangsad (NSS) is a non-government humanitarian organization dedicated to advancing the well-being of poor and marginalized men, women, children, youth, excluded groups, and persons with disabilities since its development intervention in 2000. NSS is a non-profit, non-political, child-sensitive and gender-sensitive organization that upholds the values of diversity, equality, and inclusion.

NSS is going to implement a project titled “Partnerships for Improved Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) in Coastal Bangladesh”, funded by Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies (MACP) and supported by Concern Worldwide. The project will be implemented in Amtali and Taltoli upazilas under Barguna district, focusing on strengthening RMNCAH services, community engagement, and health system integration. The duration of the project is December 2025 to 31 December 2026.

To support effective implementation, NSS is seeking a competent, proactive, and experienced MEAL Officer with proven experience in Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) projects or similar public health and community development initiatives.

The MEAL officer is responsible for Develop and maintain the project’s MEAL framework, including indicators, monitoring tools, data collection methods, and reporting templates aligned with RMNCAH outcomes.

Job Location: Amtali and Taltoli Upazila of Barguna District.

Job Responsibilities.

  • Assist project management in overall project planning, budgeting, implementation, and monitoring of activities.

  • Participate in program design and proposal development, including log frame design, ToC alignment, and M&E budgeting.

  • Support the Project Coordinator (PC) in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning activities to ensure progress toward project goals as per ToC and LFA.

  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual work plans and budgets for effective implementation of project activities.

  • Develop relevant tools for process, input, and output monitoring in accordance with project design.

  • Establish appropriate monitoring mechanisms for tracking project interventions and results.

  • Provide technical support to field staff for conducting surveys, assessments, and routine data collection.

  • Conduct regular field visits (at least 80% field time) to monitor progress, validate data, and provide supportive supervision to field-level colleagues.

  • Monitor the quality and effectiveness of meetings, trainings, orientations, and other project events.

  • Guide field teams in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and integrity of data submitted from the field.

  • Share field findings with project management and staff to improve the quality and impact of activities.

  • Maintain effective communication and liaison with relevant government departments and other NGOs/INGOs.

  • Build strong relationships with Community Clinics, Union Health Centers, and Upazila Health Complex representatives to strengthen community-level health services.

  • Maintain collaborative relationships with Upazila-level Health and Family Planning officials, Local Government representatives, CSOs, and other key stakeholders.

  • Participate in district and Upazila-level GO-NGO coordination meetings and Hospital Management Committee meetings.

  • Prepare monthly reports and maintain proper documentation of all project activities ensuring data quality and authenticity.

  • Collect and analyze data to prepare result-based and impact-based reports, case studies, best practices, and success stories.

  • Assist the PC in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual project reports for donors and stakeholders, ensuring timely submission and quality inputs.

  • Provide support to management in preparing annual reports, case stories, and best practice documentation.

  • Facilitate field visits and ensure timely support to internal and external visitors.

  • Assist the PC in developing IEC materials, training modules, session plans, schedules, leaflets, brochures, fact sheets, posters, booklets, flip charts, and audio-visual content.

  • Ensure timely sharing of monitoring findings with team members to support evidence-based decision-making and program improvement.

  • Practice, promote, and ensure adherence to PSEA and safeguarding policies among all project staff and stakeholders.

  • Ensure MEAL activities follow organizational policies and donor compliance standards.

  • Carry out administrative functions as required to meet organizational and donor requirements.

  • Assist senior management in planning, decision-making, and implementing corrective actions where needed.



Job Other Benifits:
    • TK. 45,500 per month with festival bonus and other admissible benefits according to the project budget. .
