Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead MEAL processes for two regional projects- continue to operationalize MEAL plans/ systems in coordination with the HQ-MEAL team.
∎ Monitor the implementation of the MEAL framework in three countries (including complaint and feedback response mechanisms) in collaboration with the respective country MEAL teams.
∎ Ensure timely and accurate project monitoring, baseline, evaluation, information management and reporting.
∎ Lead accountability processes
∎ Compile country MEAL data for learning and reporting purposes.
∎ Manage learning and capacity building for MEAL.
∎ Support annual review mechanisms and learning workshops
∎ Lead the country MEAL team of partners in three countries (India, Bangladesh and Nepal) and coordinate the collaboration (data analysis processes, communication processes, documentation, etc.).
∎ Contribute to the development of donor proposal, donor meetings, and due diligence processes.
∎ Support the dissemination of results, case studies, lessons learnt and publications
∎ Initiate, coordinate and support external and internal evaluations and reviews.

∎ Job Summary:
∎ As MEAL Expert, you will guide the country teams and implementing partners in three countries (Bangladesh, Nepal, and India) for two regional projects - Green Evolution (Agro-Ecology) and a potential Nutrition project - in MEAL standards according to Welthungerhilfe Policy and Procedures. You will also provide expert advice on the implementation and development ofprograms as well as projects based on the regional and sectoral portfolio.
