∎ To implement the farmers market project, we are looking for experienced and interested `Market Help Desk Assistants` to provide information and assistance to the market actors - farmers, small scale aggregators, tradors, retailers, buyers, agents and all other actors.
∎ Working Conditions:
∎ Working days from Sunday to Thursday with 40 hours per week. (this can be changed as per nature of the project)
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
∎ Yearly renewable contract based on fund availability and performance.
∎ Have to follow ICCO HR, Admin and Finance related policy.
∎ Duration of contract till December 2020 with possibilities of extension depending on fund availability.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall Responsibilities:
∎ The role of the 'market help desk assistant' is to keep track of the buying and selling processes in the market hubs set up in different camps using 'Customer Relationship Management' software.
∎ Specific Responsibilities:
∎ A Proactive and innovative role in help Desk for market management and relationship building with different actors
∎ Customer relationship management and data keeping using CRM software
∎ To maintain help desks in the market hubs responding with quick and correct information
∎ Keep contact with the producer groups about their product
∎ Cooperate with the Rohingya beneficiaries in purchasing food items from the sellers
∎ Excellent communication skills with strong sense of responsibilities
∎ Liaison and relationship with the CiC, site management in the camps
∎ Participate in meetings, events organized by other stakeholders and represent the project and ICCO Cooperation properly
∎ The duties and responsibilities may change as per requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum one-year experience in the similar field e.g. outlet cashier, Call Center, Customer care etc
∎ Must be able to speak the local dialect /Chittagong language
∎ Good command of computer software package - Excel, Word
∎ Willingness to learn and use new software
∎ Female candidates strongly preferred
∎ Experience with NGOs development work preferred
∎ Punctual and good time management and strong relationship building skills
∎ Understanding of protection issues facing our beneficiaries
∎ An affinity with low-income consumers and producers
