Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized University/ Institution with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall implementation of capacity building activities related to project outputs
∎ Prepare relevant training and awareness raising materials
∎ Conduct Training of Trainers (ToT) and community sensitisation/ awareness for women groups on skills development on climate resilient technologies, best practices and norms, sustainable management practices, and O&M of resilient livelihoods and water technologies
∎ Conduct market research (qualitative and quantitative) to determine market requirements for existing and future products and reach the product to the market from the communities/ groups
∎ Conduct ToT for women groups to support business skills development resulting in marketing and financing plans for the resilient livelihoods
∎ Analysis of customer research and current market conditions
∎ Facilitate to strengthened climate resilient value chains and market linkages for alternative, resilient livelihoods
∎ Conduct awareness sessions and training through workshops for women groups, value-chain actors, and WSC/ LGI staff on implementation of climate risk reduction strategies
∎ Conduct ToT based training on dissemination and delivery of actionable early warnings (in coordination with CPP);
∎ Conduct ToT based training, learning exchange, and advocacy for DMC staff, Union level CPP volunteer groups, BDRCS, and Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief (MoDMR) staff to enable replication of the volunteer mechanisms across other wards and Unions
∎ Develop climate-risk informed social audit protocol and toolkits for participatory monitoring and evaluation of resilient livelihoods
∎ Develop strategic partnership and networks with the relevant stakeholders
∎ Conduct ToT based training for WLGs and institutional staff (LGIs/DWA) on results monitoring of livelihoods in the light of evolving climate risks
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 02 years of working experience in the development sector is required.
∎ Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge of climate change adaptation, resilience, community capacity building initiatives, climate-resilient drinking water solutions, resilient livelihood, value chain and market linkage, gender, environmental and social compliance issues etc.
∎ Skills in training facilitation, market research, community mobilisation, participatory mapping, climate resilient livelihood, social and environmental auditing
∎ Experienced in implementing capacity building initiatives at the community level
∎ Excellent capabilities of coordination and to conduct the training for trainers
∎ Capable of planning and prioritizing under any stress situation
∎ Excellent skills in communications and networking
∎ Familiar with MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
