Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the quality department, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
∎ Oversee the entire quality assurance process, including incoming material inspection, in-process checks, and final product testing.
∎ Develop and implement quality strategies and policies in line with company goals.
∎ Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements, utilizing statistical methods and quality tools.
∎ Manage and evaluate the performance of local and global suppliers to ensure consistent quality of materials.
∎ Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, addressing any quality issues promptly.
∎ Work closely with technical, development, and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement best practices.
∎ Conduct regular training sessions to educate staff on quality standards and procedures.
∎ Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
∎ Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to enhance product reliability and performance.
∎ Maintain and update quality control manuals, procedures, and records.
∎ Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and performance for management review
