Responsibilities & Context:

Esquire Knit Composite PLC is a leading vertically integrated knit garment manufacturer in Bangladesh, producing world-class apparel for top international brands, seeking an experienced and technically sound professional to lead our Sample Department. The role requires strong expertise in knitwear, woven, and lingerie construction, pattern development, and product engineering. The ideal candidate will ensure all samples are developed accurately, meet buyer specifications, and are production-feasible.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead and mentor the Sample & Garment Technical team.

2. Oversee sample room operations and ensure coordination with design, merchandising, and production.

3. Guide pattern makers, sample tailors, and operators during fittings and approvals.

4. Supervise all technical aspects of samples from concept to bulk handover.

5. Review buyer tech packs, specifications, patterns, and BOM.

6. .Conduct risk assessment and organize style review meetings

7. Participate in Pre-Production (PP) meetings to ensure smooth bulk transition.

8. Finalize fit, construction, and machinery requirements.

9. Manage CAD system and pattern library

10. Implement technical innovations and process improvements.

11. Ensure accurate pattern development (manual & CAD).

12. Conduct sample fittings to meet buyer specifications.

13. Verify correct use of materials and construction as per tech packs

14. Approve dummy fittings and VTC tasks

15. Ensure compliance with EKCPLC standard procedures and documentation
