Additional Requirements:

Minimum 5 years managerial experience in a tertiary care hospital in Bio Medical Engineering department is required.
Responsibilities & Context:
Responsible to ensure smooth functionality of biomedical engineering support.
Advise hospital administrators on the planning, acquisition, and use of medical equipment.
Planning & follow up pre-installation requirements for biomedical machines.
Determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.
Install, adjust, maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment
Advise and assist in the application of instrumentation in clinical & room environments.
Plan, coordinate, roster preparation, leave management of biomedical department.
Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment.
Train end user and other personnel on the proper use of equipment.
Work with Technologist, chemists, and medical person to research the engineering aspects of biological systems of humans.
Provide information & communication with other departments for biomedical machines functionality.
Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to Supplier, the manufacture principal, government, and other external sources.
Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Record keeping of daily service reports, under service report & breakdown register.
Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.
Authorize & Follow up requirements parts for biomedical machines & Preventive maintenance.
