Additional Requirements:
  • Must have experience in Leading a team in Maintenance department of a footwear factory.

  • Must have practical knowledge on Footwear machinery maintenance.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of all footwear production machinery (cutting, stitching, lasting, molding, finishing, etc.).

  • Ensure minimal machine downtime by planning scheduled maintenance programs.

  • Monitor performance and efficiency of production equipment and utilities.

  • Ensure availability of spare parts and maintain inventory control

  • Work on reducing downtime and enhancing productivity through automation and efficiency projects.

  • Manage factory utilities (electricity, water, air compressors, boilers, HVAC, etc.) to ensure uninterrupted operations.

  • Supervise repair and upkeep of factory infrastructure (lighting, plumbing, ventilation, safety systems, etc.).

  • Lead, guide, and train the maintenance team (mechanical, electrical, and utility technicians).

  • Develop skill matrix and training plans for technicians.

  • Allocate work assignments and monitor job completion.

  • Ensure machinery and electrical systems comply with factory safety standards and legal requirements.

  • Implement safety checks, lockout–tagout (LOTO) procedures, and fire safety measures.

  • Maintain compliance with audit requirements (social, compliance, ISO, etc.).

  • Coordinate with production teams to schedule machine servicing without disrupting operations.

  • Maintain maintenance records, machine history, and breakdown logs.

  • Prepare maintenance cost analysis and submit reports to management.

  • Identify opportunities to improve machine performance and reliability.

  • Work on reducing downtime and enhancing productivity through automation and efficiency projects.
