Additional Requirements:
Must have experience in Leading a team in Maintenance department of a footwear factory.
Must have practical knowledge on Footwear machinery maintenance.
Must have experience to face buyer Audit.
Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of all footwear production machinery (cutting, stitching, lasting, molding, finishing, etc.).
Face different audit as it is 100% Export factory.
Ensure minimal machine downtime by planning scheduled maintenance programs.
Monitor performance and efficiency of production equipment and utilities.
Ensure availability of spare parts and maintain inventory control
Work on reducing downtime and enhancing productivity through automation and efficiency projects.
Manage factory utilities (electricity, water, air compressors, boilers, HVAC, etc.) to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Supervise repair and upkeep of factory infrastructure (lighting, plumbing, ventilation, safety systems, etc.).
Lead, guide, and train the maintenance team (mechanical, electrical, and utility technicians).
Develop skill matrix and training plans for technicians.
Allocate work assignments and monitor job completion.
Ensure machinery and electrical systems comply with factory safety standards and legal requirements.
Implement safety checks, lockout–tagout (LOTO) procedures, and fire safety measures.
Maintain compliance with audit requirements (social, compliance, ISO, etc.).
Coordinate with production teams to schedule machine servicing without disrupting operations.
Maintain maintenance records, machine history, and breakdown logs.
Prepare maintenance cost analysis and submit reports to management.
Identify opportunities to improve machine performance and reliability.
Work on reducing downtime and enhancing productivity through automation and efficiency projects.
