Responsibilities & Context:
Dhaka Boat Club Ltd. is one of the leading club in Bangladesh. We are hiring an experienced Accounts & Finance Manager to join our team. You`ll be glad you applied to Dhaka Boat Club Ltd.
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports.
Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepare bank reconciliation, cashflow statement & budget.
Good knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Stock & Inventory management monitoring.
Good knowledge in VAT & TAX and VDS & TDS as per act with strong abilities to VAT & Income TAX returns and also know about IAS, IFRS, BFRS.
Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions.
Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
To ensure all accounting source documents are accurately recorded and preserved in the Books of Accounts.
