Skills Required:
Additional Requirements:
- Age At least 35 years
- Minimum of five (5) years of COMMERCIAL solar system design experience required.
- Adequate knowledge and experience in Auto-CAD, PV syst, PowerPoint, Google Sketchup and Microsoft Office.
- Proven experience in power project development, specifically with IPPs, including strong bid management experience.
- Experience with financing structures (project finance) for IPP projects is highly valuable.
- Any additional experience with estimating or designing electrical systems is preferred.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Manages with technical design, optimization and negotiates contracts, collaborating with cross-functional modeling to ensure project viability.
- Collaborate with unit heads and leadership to develop and implement business strategies aimed at achieving organizational goals.
- Conduct feasibility studies and on-site evaluations to determine the most optimal solar solutions for various client needs and sites.
- Understanding of industrial bidding documents, technical, contractual requirements, financial modeling (OpEx/CapEx), and the B2B sales cycle.
- Managing a team to ensure bids meet An IPP (Independent Power Producer) power project tender manager oversees the process of creating, evaluating, and responding to bids for IPP projects.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in solar technology, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to inform project decisions and strategies.
- Assist in developing complex financial structures and business cases for the projects.
