Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage and provide effective support to warehouse supervisor, WHO, keepers in material store, issuing of goods, maintaining records in a professional way and also maintain buyer wise inventory and delivery sheet
∎ Ensure properly guideline and operation of the warehouse like safe receive, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch by the sector requirement of the programme-HCMP
∎ Ensure safety security of warehouse inventory, system, structure
∎ Ensure warehouse transaction inward/outward as per guideline and storage materials or goods follow the warehouse procedure
∎ Assist & coordinate to properly implement scheduled physical inventory as per warehouse guide line & policy
∎ Carry forward the inventory management system as per programmes policy & procedure
∎ Lead to carry out the warehouse peoples assessment and designing on warehouse planning communications and there activities
∎ To advise / Visit, maintain and update all documents of warehouses as well as maintain the relevant documents periodically checking and report to line manager
∎ Monitor the supply chain of different materials frequently
∎ Maintain close relationship and contact with relevant managements and sectors specially Procurements, Finances, Audit, Admin and Logistics, HR, Communications within organization and try to assist them as maximum as possible
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
∎ This position is reportable to Sr. Manager, Warehouse and responsible for maintaining, updating, supervising, management of all level of NFI / goods stored at the warehouses also to deliver the different project sites and monitoring the warehouse management under the Humanitarian Crisis Management Program (HCMP) of BRAC in his/her assigned working areas.
