Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate or post-graduate studies in Agriculture, Agriculture Economics, Business Administration, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, University of Dhaka, Rajshahi University, Khulna University, Jagannath University students or any recognized universities.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and oversee all activities including the formation of strong producer groups for vegetable, cereals, fruits, and livestock value chain.
∎ Identify and train lead farmers and local service providers and facilitate training for farmers.
∎ Ensure timely, high-quality implementation and support that adheres to project work plans.
∎ Facilitate producers group for a strong relationship building with the private sector, especially with online marketing companies.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and work plans.
∎ Help Producer Groups preparing business plans, for ensuring more profits from a specific value chain.
∎ Design appropriate training modules to train staff team, producers group, and Local Service Providers (LSP).
∎ Capacity development initiatives to enhance confidence and skills among the reference people that will sustain beyond the project period.
∎ Managing and reviewing the performance of the team and individual team members.
∎ Establish linkages and strengthen relationships with service providers, relevant Government Authorities, to make them supportive and responsive to the producer groups.
∎ Identify new actors and engage them in specific value chain.
∎ Organize national and regional level workshop sharing achievements of the projects.
∎ Contribute to reporting, monitoring, and providing technical guidance to staff members.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Considerable experience in Planning, Strategic thinking, Analytical skills, and Influencing and negotiations skills with different stakeholders.
∎ Result-driven personality
∎ Substantial experience (minimum 5 years) in implementing value chain or marketing projects.
∎ Confidence and belief in sustainable social-economic development through strong cooperation between private sectors and NGOs.
∎ A clear understanding of pro-poor value chain development engaging private sectors.
∎ A strong commitment to gender equality and addressing other diversity perspectives; and direct experience in supporting women's empowerment, and rights-based approaches to poverty alleviation.
Salary: Tk. 45000 - 50000 (Monthly)
