Responsibilities & Context:
Developing and implementing transportation strategies aligned with business needs.
Ensuring the maintenance and repair of transportation vehicles.
Supervising and managing a team of drivers and other transportation staff.
Monitoring transportation costs and budgets.
Identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities in transportation operations.
Negotiating contracts with transportation service providers.
Identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities in transportation operations.
Liaising with various departments (sales, supply, operations) to ensure smooth operations.
Ensuring compliance and conducting regular safety audits on equipment and transportation vehicles
Work closely with all departments to meet their transportation needs.
Act as the point of contact for any transport-related issues.
Ensure effective communication between transport, vendors, maintenance, and admin.
Any other tasks as assigned by the superior as and when required.
