Educational Requirements:
∎ Master/ MBA in Accounting/ Finance/AIS from recognized University with CA/CMA partly qualified.
∎ Having ITP certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Corporate and individual tax planning for future period and tax planning for finalization of assessment of Company's and Individual for the current period;
∎ Preparation of statements for annual Tax return and Tax audit for all business unit;
∎ Ensure submission of Income Tax return in due time along with the required documents;
∎ Prepare and execute the individual tax files of all directors of the Group;
∎ Oversee employee-related TAX deduction, employee-related company tax return submission/filing;
∎ Attend hearing with The DCT, Appellate & Appellate Tribunal and ADR for finalization of assessment;
∎ Review all financial records, systems and control process of the company as per accounting standards and prevailing taxes laws;
∎ Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within the time frame;
∎ Identify and mitigate tax risks as well as review the Audited Financial Statements in the light of Income Tax Ordinance, 1984 with a view to reduce the disallowances;
∎ Manage tax provision and tax compliance process and coordinate tax audits with Tax authorities and Lawyers;
∎ Maintain tax balances on general ledger;
∎ Monitor monthly TDS/VDS deduction from the applicable heads of accounts and deposit to the Govt. exchequer;
∎ Preparation & submission of information regarding payment of salary U/S-108, withholding tax return u/s 75A;
∎ Liaison with the concerned banks & other related Govt. and private bodies along with the group Income Tax practitioner;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 8 years of experience out of which 2–3 years in relevant field from any Large Group of Company;
∎ Proven experience in Tax planning /VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax is a must;
∎ Pro-active, presentable, proactive, independent and result oriented;
∎ Work in innovative way for simplifying tasks and assignments;
∎ High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
∎ People management skills - fairness and ability to motivate and manage the team;
∎ Excellent communication in both written and speaking in English;
∎ Demonstrated skills in problem solving, decision making and multitasking;
∎ Conceptual, analytical, documentation and presentation skills;
