Education:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 32 years
  • At least 3–4 years in a managerial or leadership role.

  • Professional certification on CIPS, CSCP, CPIM would be an added advantage.

  • Self-driven to work under pressure (pro-active attitude).

  • Positive work ethics and result oriented mindset for assigned responsibilities.



Responsibilities & Context:

Strategic Planning, Analysis & Forecasting:

  • Analyze business plans and range plans provided by management and sales teams to create actionable supply chain forecasts.

  • Plan resources based on changing business environments and seasonal trends.

  • Forecast yearly material and accessories requirements and align sourcing plans accordingly.

  • Ensure efficient procurement planning to avoid stock-outs while maintaining optimum inventory levels.

  • Manage delivery planning of trading items, ensuring short lead times and cost-effectiveness.

Budgeting:

  • Prepare monthly payment forecast for subcontractors and local raw material suppliers.

  • Develop budgets for imported goods and inbound freight related to trading items.

  • Identify and onboard new suppliers, expanding the supplier base while ensuring quality compliance.

Sourcing:

  • Source new raw materials, accessories, branding, and packaging items to enhance quality and reduce costs.

  • Convert potential suppliers into strategic business partners for long-term collaboration.

  • Promote sustainable sourcing practices and strengthen supplier relationships.

  • Continuously explore alternative products offering better value and quality.

Procurement & Compliance:

  • Collect quotations aligned with approved purchase requisitions and prepare comparative statements for approvals.

  • Issue purchase orders and monitor end-to-end procurement to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

  • Ensure suppliers adhere to warranties, guarantees, service agreements, and return policies where applicable.

  • Maintain compliance with VAT, AIT, and internal procurement policies.

  • Cross-check and verify terms of work orders issued by various departments.

Payment & Bill Management:

  • Manage and verify supplier documentation and maintain records per company policy.

  • Review and forward bills to the Accounts department for audit and respond to queries.

  • Oversee reconciliations, debit notes, and adjustments against advances.

  • Prepare and process payment requisitions for subcontractors, raw materials, and import suppliers.

  • Provide necessary tax deduction certificates (TDS, VDS) to vendors.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Liaise with Design, Sales & Marketing teams to align raw material planning with actual requirements.

  • Coordinate with Material Control to check current inventory status and update relevant departments.

  • Work closely with Corporate Accounts and Finance to streamline local and import procurement funding.

  • Ensure timely and accurate communication across departments to meet production demands.

  • Collaborate with the Merchandising team for on-time procurement and supply of materials.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare monthly payment reports for raw materials and subcontracted services.

  • Submit periodic procurement and expense reports, including supplier evaluations.

  • Deliver on-demand reports required by management, including trading item reports.

Research & Development:

  • Identify and implement cost-effective, innovative branding and packaging materials.

  • Develop and update SOPs and supply chain policies to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Explore product innovations and alternatives that align with quality and cost objectives.
