Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide legal support and advice to management.
∎ Ensure compliance with applicable laws and handle disputes, including employee-related litigations.
∎ Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and policies in line with labor laws.
∎ Represent the Group in legal matters, including court appearances, particularly in the High Court and Appellate Division.
∎ Lead initiatives to resolve disputes, recover outstanding dues, and handle land-related issues with management's consultation.
∎ We are one of Bangladesh's leading garment manufacturers, operating 6 factories with over 16,000 employees. We are seeking a qualified Legal Advisor to oversee legal matters, ensure compliance, and protect our company's interests.
