Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA / BBA in Management and Finance & Banking background from any reputed Public University.
∎ Graduation/ Post Graduation in Finance & Banking And Mamagement from any reputed Public University.
∎ M.Coms in Commercial background preferable.
∎ IBA from Dhaka University, Rajshahi University, Khulna University, Chittagong University, Jahanginagar University students will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial and Bond Customs, Commercial Banking, Documentation., Export/ Import through L/C, Factory Commercial, Import and Export of Bonded warehouse
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Dyeing Factory, Group of Companies, Manufacturing (FMCG)
Job Context:
∎ Dyeing & Spinning factory.
∎ Candidate will be entitled to Job responsibilities of Commercial Department, mostly activities related to Export & Import.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The day-to-day export and import operations are overseen, while simultaneously adhering to BEPZA, Bangladesh Bank, Customs, and VAT rules and regulations
∎ Effective communication and collaboration are maintained with relevant agencies, trade bodies, banks, shipping lines, C&F agents, Customs, and VAT departments, among others.
∎ Monitoring and managing commercial reports associated with import & Export activities, and promptly notifying management as necessary.
∎ Ensuring compliance with applicable customs bonded laws, regulations, and trade policies through the maintenance of a robust Bonded Warehouse system.
∎ Proficient in working with the international customs ASYCUDA System and utilizing an industrial ERP system.
∎ Coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to streamline shipments, documentation, and customs clearance processes.
∎ Providing leadership, guidance, and assistance to the commercial team.
∎ Undertaking any additional tasks assigned by management as needed.
∎ Responsible to manage all commercial activities (e.g. issuance of PI, L/C open, amendment/correction, shipment, negotiation, payment realization, release, etc.) through overseas phone and e-mail.
∎ Knowledge of commercial papers /documentation for import and export.
∎ Ensure preparation of Commercial invoice, packing list, Detail Packing list, UD, IC, and Draft BL.
∎ Maintain proper liaison with concerned agencies, trade bodies, banks, shipping lines, C&F agents, transport agents, insurance companies, Customs & VAT department, etc.
∎ Communication with overseas suppliers, negotiation with suppliers, and finding new suppliers.
∎ Follow up on Import L/C and ensure proper HS code and sound knowledge about SRO benefit for timely clearance from customs and save additional cost.
∎ Communicate with banks for timely Proceeds Realization Certificate (PRC) collection.
∎ Negotiate with the bank for the preferential exchange rate for imports.
∎ Follow up on Annual Import Entitlement with customs bond.
∎ Follow up and maintain commercial reports related to Import activities and inform management as required.
∎ Work independently and have sufficient knowledge regarding Export-Import, Customs procedures, VAT & Tax rules related to Export and Import.
∎ Any other job assigned from time to time by the management.
∎ Manage yarn, dyes, and chemicals import operations, ensuring compliance with relevant custom bonded laws, regulations, and trade policies.
∎ Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to facilitate smooth shipments, documentation, and customs clearance.
∎ Stay updated with customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements ensuring compliance with import and export requirements.
∎ Ensure compliance with international trade regulations (INCOTERM-2020), export controls, sanctions, and embargoes.
∎ Analyze and evaluate customs duties, preferential trade agreements, and duty drawback programs to optimize import costs.
∎ Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to negotiate contracts, monitor performance and ensure timely delivery of goods.
∎ Maintain accurate records and documentation of transactions, shipments, and customs declarations.
∎ Monitor and control costs related to import, export, C&F bills and other activities.
∎ Provide leadership, guidance and support to the commercial team.
∎ Able to prepare CO (certificate of origin),
∎ To collect quotations against specific freight forwarders and other parties.
∎ To monitor regularly & track various stages of Export as well as payment follow-up.
∎ To monitor regular export policy, Bangladesh Bank Guideline & related other issues.
∎ To check the Bill of Lading (BL) & AWB (Airway Bill) and able to track the shipment.
∎ Knowledge about the BEPZA portal for EP & IP.
∎ Knowledge of SAP, ERP software
∎ Ensure yearly Customs Audit claims and update bond license independently.

∎ Excellent command over English (Both oral and written).
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic and have a good personality.
∎ Good communication skill
∎ Self-motivated, responsible and team player.
