Education:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Chemistry, Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science (BSc)
∎ Ø Bachelor's or Master’s in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, Food Technology, or a related field.
∎ Ø Certifications in HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, or similar food safety standards are highly preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Position Overview: The Manager (QA) oversees all QA activities, ensuring food products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role includes managing the QA team, designing quality processes, developing SOPs, and collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement, maintaining product safety, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
∎ Key Responsibilities:Ø Develop, implement, and manage QA processes for all stages of food production.
∎ Ø Ensure compliance with food safety protocols (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, etc.).
∎ Ø Conduct regular audits of QC systems and identify areas for improvement.
∎ Ø Lead, mentor, and train the QA team.
∎ Ø Promote a culture of quality awareness across the organization.
∎ Ø Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
∎ Ø Ensure lab tests (microbial, chemical, physical) meet required standards.
∎ Ø Ensure products meet sensory, nutritional, and legal specifications.
∎ Ø Maintain QC documentation (certificates, inspection reports, regulatory compliance).
∎ Ø Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance.
∎ Ø Analyze QC data to identify trends and improve processes.
∎ Ø Collaborate with production and R&D teams to resolve quality issues.
∎ Ø Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality standards.
∎ Ø Ensure incoming raw materials meet specifications.
∎ Ø Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
∎ Ø Implement preventive measures to reduce quality issues.
∎ Ø Collaborate with R&D, production, procurement, and sales teams to align QC objectives.
