Experience:
a. Business Management and Planning: Develop and oversee long-term (5 years) and short-term (1 year) business plans to ensure financial and operational goals are met. Monitor performance against strategic objectives and adjust plans as needed. Collaborate with department heads to ensure business activities align with the overall corporate strategy.
b. Growth and Business Expansion: Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for business expansion, including geographic, product, and service line growth. Develop and execute strategic initiatives to achieve sustainable growth. Oversee the launch of new business units, projects, or ventures.
c. Business Strategy Development: Define and implement business strategies to meet competitive, operational, and financial goals. Ensure strategies are flexible and adaptive to industry trends and market conditions. Provide strategic direction to the executive team and board of directors.
d. Market and Industry Research: Conduct comprehensive research on market trends, industry developments, customer behaviors, and competitors. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and business strategies. Develop forecasts and scenario planning to prepare for future challenges and opportunities.
e. Business Acquisitions and Collaborations: Identify potential acquisition targets, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. Lead due diligence, negotiation, and integration processes for acquisitions or collaborations. Build and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners.
f. Risk Mitigation and Management: Identify and assess strategic, financial, and operational risks impacting the organization. Develop and implement risk management frameworks and mitigation plans. Ensure the organization is prepared for uncertainties and crises.
g. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and manage systems to track the execution and outcomes of strategic initiatives. Provide regular updates to the board of directors and key stakeholders on progress and performance. Analyze performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
