Job Context:
∎ Prantik Marine Services Ltd., a venture of Prantik Group., is involved in marine industry providing various services. Recently the group commenced the development of ERP software and upgraded its IT infrastructure for smooth operation. In this regard, the company is looking for a smart, dynamic and goal-oriented candidate for its IT department.
∎ Job Location Head Office located at Chattogram
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide necessary support through diagnosis of technical issues to ensure perfect working condition;
∎ Communicate with Infrastructure and Software Vendor to ensure smooth operation;
∎ Installation of regular applications required for business use;
∎ Software maintenance and backup;
∎ Problem identification and troubleshooting for Internet, LAN, Peripherals, OS, Office applications;
∎ CC TV, DVR, NVR troubleshooting and maintenance;
∎ Access control and attendance system maintenance;
∎ HR/Payroll Software operation and providing necessary inputs;
∎ Website maintenance;
∎ Maintain IT Inventory etc.;
∎ Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
∎ Prepare accurate and timely reports
∎ Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
∎ Execute Software testing and quality assurance and integrate software with existing systems
∎ Ensure smooth running of all IT systems including Installation of new computer hardware, software and operating system, anti-virus software, print services, and e-mail provision of the company.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 35 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): IT System Management
∎ Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office use especially Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint including Bangla Typing.
∎ Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/ software systems
∎ Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus
∎ Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
∎ Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
∎ Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
∎ Strong networking and interpersonal skill.
∎ Facilitate interactive discussions.
∎ Excellent skill in verbal and written communications in English particularly in preparing issue-based papers or reports.
∎ Approachable, flexible, creative and supportive.
∎ Diplomacy, tact and Strong judgment able to assess situation, take responsibility and act accordingly.
∎ Excellent communicator at all levels.
∎ Patience and perseverance.
