Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our engineering team and build scalable backend services, AI-powered applications, biometric authentication systems, and reusable microservices.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, Docker, cloud deployment, and AI/computer vision technologies, along with a solid foundation in software engineering and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade REST APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Build scalable and reusable microservices for business applications.
- Develop and integrate AI/computer vision solutions, particularly for face or biometric recognition.
- Work with technologies such as OpenCV, InsightFace, MediaPipe, and PyTorch.
- Implement biometric verification, identification, and liveness detection solutions.
- Design efficient pipelines for image processing, feature/embedding generation, and similarity matching.
- Develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT and related technologies.
- Design and integrate payment gateway services and webhook-based transaction processing.
- Implement reliable transaction handling, including idempotency and secure transaction tracking.
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy backend services to cloud infrastructure.
- Design and work with databases such as MongoDB and MySQL.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to deliver complete software solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code and participate in code reviews.
- Analyze system performance and improve API response time, scalability, and reliability.
- Follow software development lifecycle, Agile practices, and engineering best practices.
