Job Context:
Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is one of the largest conglomerates in Bangladesh with a growing presence in the cement sector. MGI manufactures and markets Fresh Cement, Meghna Delux Cement, and Dhalai Special Cement, providing high-quality products to meet the infrastructure and construction needs of the country. The Manager / Senior Manager – Brand (Team Lead) will lead the cement brand team to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand growth and market leadership. This role demands strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on involvement to ensure alignment between brand strategies and business objectives across sales, factory, and supply chain functions.
The incumbent will report to the Department Head and be responsible for managing a team of brand professionals while acting as a key contributor to Meghna Cement’s continued market expansion.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the Brand & Marketing team responsible for delivering integrated marketing campaigns and activities for Fresh Cement, Meghna Delux Cement, and Dhalai Special Cement.
Formulate and implement brand strategies and marketing plans aligned with MGI’s overall business goals and cement market dynamics.
Oversee execution of 360-degree marketing programs including ATL, BTL, digital marketing, trade marketing, and event activations to maximize brand visibility and customer engagement.
Manage relationships and coordinate closely with advertising agencies, digital partners, research firms, media agencies, and other external stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery of marketing outputs.
Collaborate extensively with sales, factory, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and consistent brand communication at all levels.
Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive activities to identify opportunities and risks, making data-driven recommendations for brand enhancement and innovation.
Monitor and evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness and ROI to optimize budget utilization and business impact.
Take ownership of budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management to ensure cost efficiency and delivery excellence.
Lead major brand events, trade programs, and customer engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and market needs.
Prepare and present regular brand performance reports, market feedback, and strategic insights to senior management.
