Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage all the security related issues relating to airport operations.
∎ Responsible to communicate with Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh and other offices for security related matters.
∎ Arrange airport entry and Duty pass required for the employees to work in the airport area.
∎ Responsible to train the new security personnel and deploy them for duty.
∎ Arrange refresher training frequently to update their duty standards.
∎ Frequently visit various security post and make them aware of importance of security.
∎ Responsible for pre-flight security, screening and hold baggage screening of departing passengers and their baggage.
∎ Responsible of compliance of all regulations and relevant Aviation Security legislation, Aviation Crimes Act, ICAO annex 17 and the Civil Aviation Act.
∎ Keep current with local instruction and policy and make contingency plans according to relevant law and practices
∎ Comply with all Aviation Security (AVSEC) policies and procedures
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 55 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Retired Armed Forces Officer (Major/Captain or equivalent) will be given preference.
∎ Working experience in airlines with extensive knowledge in Aviation Security will be preferred.
