Job Context:
∎ Esquire Knit Composite PLC is looking for R&D Manager (Knitting) who is well experienced as a textile professional and able to take challenge to reach company`s ultimate goal.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To analyze any given fabric /requirements by Marketing and provide them fabric technical support
∎ Responsible for pricing, key account management, expenses, profitability, new product development, and market research and brand strategy.
∎ Consult with buying personnel to gain advice regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand.
∎ To work closely with Marketing & factory technical team to develop new innovation, fashion trend and any special requirements from buyer
∎ Having knowledge on different types of knit fabric structure, design, fabric count, gsm, dia, stich length, gauge etc. over varieties of design fabric both natural & man-made derivatives with desired quality.
∎ Expertise in different types of textile testing procedure as like ds, bursting, pilling, fastness etc. both in fabric & garments form.
∎ Must have very good knowledge of different types of garment dye & washes like pigment, tie dye, reactive dye, acid wash, stone wash etc. including new trend wash technique.
∎ Knit Coordinate with all supportive departments (Merchandising, Planning, DPD, Knitting etc)
∎ Close co-ordination with factory Knitting Production & Planning team to ensure the TNA/OTD.
∎ Carry out assigned responsibilities for developing, directing and coordinating textile planning activities for executing development process.
∎ Any other responsibility as assigned by the management.
