Job Responsibilities:
∎ The selected candidate shall be responsible to ensure quality of knit garments products in every steps of production from cutting to packing. He should be able to find out all types of faults in the garment making process, take immediate corrective actions and should set the quality policy & procedures in such a way that rejections of the garments are minimized.
∎ Major job responsibilities of the position are as follows:
∎ To deal with the quality staffs independently for all the quality assurance activities including quality control/audit, in line inspection, pre final and final inspection.
∎ To plan, monitor, audit and ensure quality standards for products in coordination with other department and production people.
∎ To conduct pre-production meeting.
∎ Utilized MMR in whole production process.
∎ To monitor product quality through fabric in house to finished goods.
∎ To understand different buyer's specification & requirements.
∎ To follow up size set, pre-production activities, in line and final inspection with proper documentation.
∎ To monitor fabrics construction, accessories, trims, print, embroidery, wash, sample, chemical treatment etc.
∎ Getting successful inspection done at various stages of production & ensure timely shipment.
∎ Take timely and appropriate actions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
∎ Develop people qualities systematically according to Manpower Plan and organizational strategy.
∎ Strong knowledge in fabric and garment technology.
∎ Ensure all corrective actions related to production in a timely and effective manner.
∎ Responsible for all technical audit and implementation of customer technical requirement.
∎ Should have knowledge of all aspect of quality control methods and practices including AQL levels and other prevailing international standards.
∎ Ultimately ensure final product quality.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ 3-4 years experiences as Manager or in higher positions in a large knit garments factory.
∎ Technical Capacity.
∎ Problem Solving / Analytical knowledge.
∎ Must be computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, Internet Explorer, E-mail).
∎ Must have good command verbal & written communication skill in both English & Bengali.
∎ Willingness to work under pressure.
∎ Pro-active, smart, self-motivated, enthusiastic and career oriented
