Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop project proposals, concept notes ensuring high quality standard meeting donor and development partners’ requirements.
∎ Regularly monitor donor websites and identify donor opportunities that align with the work of the programme.
∎ Conduct independent research on potential donor/partners, foundation & corporations, finding a match with partners whose philanthropic or funding criteria match the organization’s vision and activities.
∎ Identify and communicate potential new areas of program design according to the programmatic strategy.
∎ Compile and maintain a database of international and local donor organizations( international foundation, bilateral and multilateral agencies and corporations)
∎ Lead the program design workshop
∎ Develop & maintain all proposal tracking documentation as required.
∎ Under the guidance of the Head and Director Road Safety Programme and in consultation with teams, assist in updating and monitoring the strategy.
∎ Develop log frame for projects.
∎ Prepare budget for project and analyze head wise expenditure.
∎ Write project inception, progress, completion and other relevant report
∎ Prepare FD-6, FD-2, FC-2 etc. documents required for NGOAB approval
∎ Support BDS development activities, marketing and report preparation.
∎ Liaise with other programs, identify areas of cooperation and develop joint projects.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

∎ Job Purpose
∎ This position shares the responsibility for day to day works of the project development, fund raising activities in close consultation with the Head and Director-RSP, by assisting in mobilizing resources for road safety program. Deputy Manager - RSP will assist in the development and periodic review and update of road safety strategy and be jointly responsible, with the Program Head, for monitoring funding opportunities and matching them to programming opportunities. S/he will be accountable for the development of high quality project proposals, concept papers and supporting documents, working in close collaboration with the PRL, Programs, Finance team, HR, Awards team, thematic area technical teams, other departments and external partners. S/he will also be expected to research and keep up to date on the donor landscape, and proactively identify, inform, and jointly pursue new funding opportunities.
