Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare production plans to execute the monthly Sales orders and develop plans for each stage of manufacturing. Guide team to execute the production plans with high accuracy.
∎ Manage the daily/weekly/monthly production targets effectively and efficiently in line with customer specifications, meeting quality and delivery expectations, minimizing costs where possible
∎ Responsible for production, meeting customer requirements and maintaining the orderly and productive operation of planned activities
∎ Communicate and liaise with other departmental managers regarding throughput of stock to ensure production targets are met
∎ Drive process improvements initiatives to boost the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by appropriate data analysis
∎ Conduct root cause analysis for rejection, rework, weak processes, customer complaints, etc and take on time corrective & preventive actions to build robust manufacturing processes.
∎ Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external/internal resources as required.
∎ Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department
∎ Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well being of staff and visitors.
∎ Report management on time to time on production, achievements, failures, improvements, resource gaps, disciplinary actions, grapevine, etc.
∎ Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them.
∎ Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility. Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reportees.
∎ Ensure KPIs are met by working towards the overall plan, including management of, and reporting. Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required
∎ People Management:
∎ Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes and improvements.
∎ Manage, coach and develop a high performing manufacturing team that meets agreed objectives and deliver best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
∎ Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels, recruitment, training, disciplinary issues and daily supervision to maximize efficient productivity
∎ Mentor, coach, educate the team to implement the best working practices at all times as per ISO 13485:2016, ISO 9001.
∎ Provide technical expertise to the team
∎ Financial and Budget Control:
∎ Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout as per Push system. • Devise and implement cost saving measures through Value Engineering deck.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 33 to 37 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 10- 12 years progressive experience in manufacturing, quality, operations, production planning and in an engineering/ manufacturing environment. • Working knowledge of Computer (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
∎ Experience in QMS (ISO 13485/9001) and with ERP tools preferable.
∎ Strong organizational and communication skills.
∎ Ability to multitask
