- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing/operations management and production planning & control.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.
- Capability to train, motivate, and develop subordinates.
Responsibilities & Context: - Manage and lead the production team - including operators, technicians, line leaders, supervisors & staff management.
- Production planning and scheduling, resource allocation, quality control, safety compliance, continuous improvement initiatives, and communication with other departments.
- Monitor daily production activities and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and manage unexpected delays.
- Lead and motivate the production, PPC, QC & engineering team to achieve performance goals.
- Monitor production progress against schedules and identify potential bottlenecks or delays.
- Optimize production workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Generate an operational progress report, calculating raw materials, factory supplies, chemicals & utilities consumption.
- Understanding of process optimization tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze performance data, and report progress to senior management.
- Train and develop subordinates/team members on technical, safety & management sciences.
- Conduct annual appraisals, set KRA/KPI, and continuously follow up with the team to achieve KRA.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations strategy with business goals.
