Job Responsibilities:
∎ Receive the weekly/ monthly production plan from the planning team to be implemented on the auto knitting (Jacquard) Operations floor
∎ Attend the pre-production meetings and provide relevant inputs for the production plan
∎ Plan and organize Auto knitting machine allocation and raw materials, basis the production schedules
∎ Manage production pipeline with the executives; Ensue minimum down-time; Track machine utilization to adhere to optimum levels
∎ Oversee the repair and routine maintenance of auto knitting machine
∎ Have complete understanding of Auto knitting machine programming
∎ Perform high level quality check on the product samples basis the set quality parameters
∎ Train local programmers to improved auto machine programming
∎ Guide Production Executives on all quality parameters and Improvements
∎ Ensure on time style wise production startup and maximizing the output.
∎ Reduce the wastage in knitting processes.
∎ Control wastage of resources, machines, raw materials, chemicals and other accessories
∎ Ensure all machines are to the correct standard to manage all styles.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Candidate must have experience in managing auto knitting operations for Sweater manufacturing.
∎ Experience in dealing with SHIMA SEIKI or STOLL knitting machine will get preference.
Salary: Negotiable
