Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee the development process from initial design concept through prototyping, sampling, and final production.
Work closely with designers, merchandising, marketing, and sales teams to align product development with business objectives and timelines.
Create and maintain technical specifications for products, ensuring designs are translated accurately for manufacturing.
Research and source new materials, technologies, and manufacturing techniques.
Manage the product development calendar to ensure projects stay on schedule.
Monitor and manage product costs throughout the development process.
Offer feedback to designers and suppliers to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
